When reporting the repair, use "PS46255" as the Part Number and "7755" as the Group Number. If administered before failure, use "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and "T" as the SIMS Description code. If administered after failure, use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMS Description Code. |

PROBLEM
The existing 261-8652 Boom Kickout Switch can be misaligned on certain PL83 and PL87 pipelayers. The misalignment can cause failures of the 261-8652 Switch. |

1) Remove the 381-2614 Guard (1). |

2) Remove the 2N-0402 Socket Head Cap Screws (2) to remove the 261-8652 Switch (3) from the original mounting bracket 3) Remove the 381-2335 Mounting Bracket (4) from machine. |

4) Install the new 564-9810 Kickout Switch Bracket (5). 5) Prior to installing switch ensure that the switch lever (6) is pushed all the way down on the mounting splines and perpendicular to the switch body. 6) Install the kickout switch to the bracket using 2N-0402 Socket Head Cap Screws (2) |
