When reporting the repair, use "PS54014" as the Part Number and "7755" as the Group Number. Use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and use "Z" as the SIMS Description Code. |

PROBLEM
The high pressure fuel pump can fail causing damage to the engine. The latest version of engine software can predict pump failure by activating the 1684-12 diagnostic code for high pressure fuel pump failure. |

PARTS DISPOSITION
NACD: Hold all 20R-2424, 20R-2423, 20R-6600, 20R-6601, 383-2034, 383-2035, 505-1183, and 505-1184 High Pressure Fuel Pumps for a Parts Return Request (PRR). A Parts Return Request (PRR) will be issued to you through the Send-It-Back process after the claim is submitted. Make sure to list the service letter program number on the packing slip and include the closed work order paperwork. Also include the high pressure fuel pump serial number. Failure to provide the requested information and/or the failed high pressure fuel pump could result in a claim being debited or rejected. EAME, LACD, and APD: Hold all 20R-2424, 20R-2423, 20R-6600, 20R-6601, 383-2034, 383-2035, 505-1183, and 505-1184 High Pressure Fuel Pumps for a Parts Return Request (PRR). Make sure to list the service letter program number on the packing slip and include the closed work order paperwork. Failure to provide the requested information and/or the failed high pressure fuel pump could result in a claim being debited or rejected. If a Parts Return Request (PRR) is not issued to you after 30 days through the Send-It-Back process, handle the parts in accordance with your warranty bulletin on warranty parts handling. |
