Installation Procedure

1. Use a suitable lifting device to position support (1) in place. Secure the top of support (1) to the platform using one bolt (2), two hard washers (3), and one locknut (4).

2. Install brace (5) and brace (6) to the bottom of support (1). Secure in place using one bolt (2), two hard washers (3), and one locknut (4).

3. Use a suitable lifting device to position ladder assembly (7) in place. Use two bolts (8), two hard washers (3), and two locknuts (9) to secure ladder assembly (7) to brace (5) and brace (6).

4. Secure the ladder assembly to the platform and railing using four bolts (10), four hard washers (3), and four locknuts (9).

5. Install gate assembly (11) to the railing on the platform.

6. Install the steps (12) to the bottom of ladder assembly (7) using four bolts (13), two plates (14), and four locknuts (15).

7. Use a suitable lifting device to position ladder assembly (16).

8. Secure the top of ladder assembly (16) to the platform using two bolts (8), four hard washers (3), and two locknuts (9).

9. Orient ladder assembly (16) so there is a 100 mm (3.9 inch) or less gap to the radiator. Once oriented, drill two 12.7 mm (0.5 inch) mounting holes in the lower step for the bottom of ladder assembly (16).

10. Secure the bottom of ladder assembly (16) to the lower step using two bolts (17), four hard washers (18), and two locknuts (19).

11. Use a suitable lifting device to position ladder assembly (20).

12. Secure the top of ladder assembly (20) to the platform using two bolts (17), four hard washers (18), and two locknuts (19).

13. Secure the bottom of ladder assembly (20) to the step using two bolts (17), four hard washers (18), and two locknuts (19).

14. Install gate assembly (21) to the top of the ladder. Secure gate assembly (21) in place using latch bracket (22). Install latch bracket (22) in place using one bolt (23), one hard washer (24), and one washer (25).

15. Use a suitable lifting device to position the stairs (26).

16. Secure stairs (26) to the frame using four cap plates (27), 12 bolts (28), 24 hard washers (29), and 12 locknuts (30).
