  1. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cooling System Coolant (ELC) - Change" for the correct draining and filling procedures.

  1. Disconnect tube assembly (1) .

  1. Remove bolts (2) and temperature regulator housing (3) .

  1. Remove tube (4) .

  1. Disconnect tube assembly (6) .

  1. Remove bolts (5) and elbow (7) .

  1. Loosen clamp (8) .

  1. Remove bolts (10), elbow (9), and the hose.

  1. Remove bolts (12) and water pump (11) .

  1. Remove O-ring seal (13) from water pump (11) .

  1. Remove seal (16) .

  1. Remove bolts (14) and inlet cover (15) .

  1. Remove O-ring seal (16) from inlet cover (15) .

Installation Procedure

  1. Install water pump (11) in the reverse order of removal.

    1. Apply Tooling (A) to all O-rings and seals in the installation procedure.

    1. Install clamp (8) and tighten clamp (8) to a torque of 14 ± 1 N·m (124 ± 9 lb in).
