  1. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cooling System Coolant (ELC) - Change" for the correct draining and filling procedures.

  1. Disconnect tube assembly (1) .

  1. Remove bolts (2) and temperature regulator housing (3) .

  1. Remove water temperature regulators (4) and seal (5) from temperature regulator housing (3) .

  1. Clean any lubricant from bore (6) .

    Note: Note the orientation of the lip seals for installation purposes.

  1. Remove lip seals (7) .

Installation Procedure

  1. Install water temperature regulators (4) in the reverse order of removal.

    1. Apply a thin layer of Tooling (A) to lip seals (7) and to bore (6) .
