Problem:

The 122-9303 Material Height Dial Buffer may have been wired improperly. An indication the buffer is not wired properly is that the feeder control will have two hard faults, CID 033 FMI F00 and CID 023 FMI F00.

Solution:

Verify the connections on the buffer are correct. For the triangle Deutsch plug: A = orange, B = black and C = white. For the square Deutsch four plug: 1 = orange, 2 = black, 3 = white and 4 = empty. If you verify that these are correct, remove the wires from the square and triangle Deutsch plugs on the buffer. Reverse the connections on the Deutsch plugs by installing the square plug where the triangle plug was and the triangle plug where the square plug was. Install the buffer back into the screed control box and clear all fault codes, and recalibrate the material height dials using KENR2861.
