Difficult Installation Of Upper Hook Sheave Block Link

Usage:

TRACK-TYPE TRACTORS561M (1KW1-UP) PIPELAYERS

Problem:

Link (2) which attaches the upper sheave block for the hook line may have undersized pin holes. This results in difficult installation of pins (4) and excessive wear on pins (4), hook sheave (3), and mounting plate (1) on the boom.

Solution:

Increase both pin hole diameters (D) in 108-7844 Link to 39.6 mm (1.56 inch).
