Problem:

There have been numerous reports of erratic readings of the engine oil pressure gage.

Solution:

In almost every case, the cause of the erratic readings is determined to be a faulty 114-6663 Oil Pressure Sender. If erratic readings are encountered, first replace the pressure sender.

An improved sender is currently under development, and will be announced in a forthcoming service magazine article.
