SUBJECT: THE HEAD OF THE STICK CYLINDER MAY LOOSEN
PROBLEM: The head of the stick cylinder may become loose.
SOLUTION: Tighten the loose cylinder head. Secure the head to the body using a setscrew. See Figure 1.
- Grind an area on the outside diameter of the cylinder barrel and the cylinder head where the two meet. The area should be a flat surface large enough for the 6V-6718 Screw to sit flat. See Illustration 1.
- Drill a 3.6 mm (.14 in) diameter hole 7.5 +/- 1.0 mm (.30 +/- .04 in) deep. Use a 1U-8142 Drill or equivalent.
- Install the 6V-6718 Self Tapping Screw (1) into the hole that was drilled.
