Problem:

Electrical problems have been reported on above listed machine S/N ranges. Sometimes Service Code 248-F02 (Cat Data Link) is shown up on CMS display. It can happen machines are stopped and it is not possible to start them again.

Solution:

The root cause of the problem can be in loose connections in the electrical box located in the engine compartment. In case of electrical problem, open the electrical box and verify that all wire connections are correctly tightened on switches, relays, breakers, ...

Before to intervene in the electrical box, the main circuit switch must be turned OFF to avoid short circuits.
