Intermittent "Soft Brake Pedal"

Problem:
REPORTS HAVE BEEN RECEIVED THAT THE BRAKE PEDAL ON THE ABOVE MACHINES MAY HAVE A "SOFT" FEEL AFTER SETTING FOR A FEW HOURS OR OVERNIGHT.
Solution:
ENGINEERING IS INVESTIGATING THIS PROBLEM. UNTIL A FINAL SOLUTION IS FOUND IT IS SUGGESTED THAT THESE STEPS BE TAKEN:
- 1. CHECK THE BRAKE PACK ADJUSTMENT THE CORRECT INTERVAL FOR THIS IS INITIAL 250 SMU ON NEW OR REBUILT BRAKE PACKS AND EVERY 500 SMU THERE AFTER.
- 2. ADJUST BRAKE PEDAL HEIGHT.
- 3. CHECK 7T1587 AXLE BREATHERS TO ENSURE THAT THEY ARE NOT PLUGGED.
- 4. BLEED BRAKE SYSTEM.
