Usage:
CHALLENGER 45 (3BK, ABF),
CHALLENGER 55 (6NN, AEN) AGRICULTURAL TRACTORS
Problem:
On machines set to a track gauge of less than 1626 mm (64 inch), the inside idler counterweights may interfere with guards on the machine's frame.
Solution:
New guards are being designed. Until the new guards are available, operate machines with a track gauge of less than 1626 mm (64 inch) with no more than one base idler counterweight and one outer idler counterweight on the inside of the roller frame.
Because you can have a difference of only one counterweight on each side of the roller frame, this limits the number of idler counterweights to five on each roller frame. An acceptable combination of five idler counterweights would consist of one inner (base) counterweight and one outer counterweight on the inside of each roller frame, and one inner (base) counterweight and two outer counterweights on the outside of each roller frame.
