Usage:

OFF-HIGHWAY TRUCKS797 (5YW) OFF-HIGHWAY TRUCKS

Problem:

Several changes are needed for the nitrogen and oil charging procedures that are used on the front and the rear suspension cylinders.

Solution:

The following updates have been made to the specified core documents to reflect the changes in the nitrogen and oil charging procedures:

The Charging Tools section of RENR2615; Testing and Adjusting/797 Off-Highway Truck Suspension Cylinder/Testing and Adjusting Section contains the following changes:

Table 3 should be changed to include the following information:

The Suspension Cylinder (Front) - Purge and Charge section of RENR2615; Testing and Adjusting/797 Off-Highway Truck Suspension Cylinder/Testing and Adjusting Section contains the following changes:

Setting Up For Measurement

The dimension for the nitrogen charging procedure should be changed to the following:

265.0 mm (10.43 in) + 58.2 mm (2.25 in) = 323.2 mm (12.68 in)

Nitrogen Charging Procedure

The regulated pressure that is referenced in Step 7 should be changed to 2791 kPa (405.1 psi).

The Suspension Cylinder (Rear) - Purge and Charge section of RENR2615; Testing and Adjusting/797 Off-Highway Truck Suspension Cylinder/Testing and Adjusting Section contains the following change:

Setting Up For Measurement

Table 5 should be changed to the following:

In Step 5, the corrected guidelines for the nitrogen charging procedure should be changed to the following:

120.7 mm (4.75 in) + 23 mm (0.9 in) = 143 mm (5.61 in)
133.4 mm (5.25 in) + 23 mm (0.9 in) = 155 mm (6.11 in)

The Worksheets section of RENR2615; Testing and Adjusting/797 Off-Highway Truck Suspension Cylinder/Testing and Adjusting Section contains the following change:
