Description of Change: A new 171-3877 Joint Assembly is now used in place of the former 9S-1912 Joint Assembly used in the transmission oil lines group on the listed models. The joint is located in the lines to and from the transmission oil cooler.

The new joint has different seals. The seals are made from Viton. The new seals have better resistance to heat than the former seals.

Adaptable To: The new joint is interchangeable with the former joint. The new joint is effective with the machines listed below.

171-4472 Seals are available for service repair of the new 171-3877 Joint Assembly.

The former 9S-1912 Joint Assembly can be converted to 171-3877 Joint Assembly by replacing the existing seals with 171-4472 Seals.
