Description of Change: Improved mounting procedures for air dryers are now used. This mounting plate is located inside the left-hand rear fan access panel on the fuel tank.

Adaptable To: The 128-4759 Plate that is used to mount the air dryer has been changed. The plate is used for machines that are equipped with either 140-9812 Protection Arrangement, 140-9813 Protection Arrangement, or 140-9814 Protection Arrangement. This change is effective with 140H (2ZK2689, 9TN565, 3AS459), 143H (1AL442), 160H (9EJ539, 3GM84, 2HS383), 163H (5AK159), and 14H (7WJ794) Motor Graders. This change is adaptable to earlier machines that are equipped with the above listed protection arrangements by adding an additional 8F-9836 Lug to the fuel tank and by adding a third mounting hole to the 128-4759 Plate. Use the plate as a template for positioning the new lug. An additional 5S-7379 Bolt and 5P-1075 Washer are required as hardware. See the illustration below for the location of the new mounting hole on the plate.
