New Adapter Used In Oil Filter Group To Provide Increased Parts Commonality {1318}

Description of Change: A new adapter is used in the oil filter group on the 3508 and 3508B Engines in these machines. The new adapter has an additional tapped hole that is necessary for the oil filter pressure sensor used on the 3508B (2GR) Engines. If the new adapter is used on engines without the oil filter pressure sensor, the additional tapped hole is plugged with an O-ring seal and plug.

Location of the new components in oil filter group. 121-5732 Adapter (1). 9S-8002 Plug (2). 6V-5048 O-ring Seal (3).

Adaptable To: The new 121-5732 Adapter, 9S-8002 Plug, and 6V-5048 O-ring Seal replace the former 4P-2532 Adapter. The former adapter is canceled. If the new adapter is installed on an engine with an oil filter pressure sensor, plug (2) and O-ring seal (3) are not used.

NOTE: Be sure to install 9S-8002 Plug (2) and 6V-5048 O-ring Seal (3) in new 121-5732 Adapter (1) if an oil filter pressure sensor is not used.
