The Operation & Maintenance Manual SEBU6865 for the above machines requires that the correct load capacity chart be referenced when lifting loads.
There are several factors that affect selecting the proper load capacity chart, including various regulatory agencies, model of machine, attachment used, whether outriggers are installed and whether the outriggers are raised or lowered.
The following chart lists the proper load capacity chart numbers for standard machines with the possibility of up to six factory, dealer, or customer installed Caterpillar attachments.
Non-factory attachments must only be used with a load capacity chart specifically intended for the machine. These may be sourced from the attachment supplier, or in some cases may be provided from the factory on certain attachments.
Machines under the governing authority of ANSI regulations (machines generally sold into the North American Marketplace) must have each of the ANSI listed load charts listed in the following chart for the specific model. The cover page for all ANSI load charts is part number 129-4175 ANSI Duty Chart.
