Be Sure To Use New 129-1939 Grease When Rebuilding Water Pump Groups {1361,0645}

Usage:

Caterpillar Machines Powered By 3204 (45V) Vehicular Engine

Use the new high temperature, high pressure 129-1939 Grease (1 pound can) when rebuilding the 2W-1223 and 0R-1242 Water Pump Groups in the above engines. When installing a 6V-6896 Pump Rebuild Kit in a 2W-1223 or 0R-1242 Water Pump Group, be sure to use the new grease as follows:

* Pack each bearing (1) with 5.0 g (.18 oz) of the new grease.

* Pack 2.0 g (.07 oz) of the new grease in the area between bearings (1).

* Pack 2.0 g (.07 oz) of the new grease in lip seal (2).

* Pack 4.0 g (.14 oz) of the new grease in lip seal (3).

Areas where new 129-1939 Grease is to be packed.
