A new 136-7813 Bearing is available for replacement of the 5P-5168 Bearing in the torque converter impeller. The 136-7813 Bearing has a different type of bearing cage that can withstand higher speeds. The 5P-5168 Bearing can fail due to engine overspeed caused by downshifts or descending steep grades.
The new 136-7813 Bearing should be used when making repairs or rebuilding the torque converters used in all D250D (6NG) Articulated Trucks.
NOTE: The 5P-5168 Bearing has not been cancelled because of use in other applications.
