Description of Change: Current production B-Series Backhoe Loaders now use a new oil cooler. The hydraulic inlet fitting has been moved towards the side of the new cooler. With this change in location of the hydraulic inlet fitting, the hose which connects to the fitting has been changed.
Adaptable To: The new 119-6254 Oil Cooler is effective with 416B (8SG5130, 8ZK1807), 426B (5YJ1429), 436B (6MJ621), 428B (7EJ2641) and 438B (3KK1086) Backhoe Loaders. The new oil cooler is also adaptable to all earlier machines.
NOTE: If replacing the oil cooler on earlier machines with the new 119-6254 Oil Cooler, the hose connected to the hydraulic inlet fitting must also be replaced with a 117-8263 Hose.
Torque Specifications:
Hydraulic Line Fitting ... 75 ± 7 N·m (55 ± 5 lb ft)
Transmission Line Fitting ... 40 ± 5 N·m (30 ± 4 lb ft)
NOTE: Hold both sides of the fitting while applying torque.
