Fixture Can Be Used To Simplify Challenger Radiator Support Installation.{1353}

Usage:

All Challenger Agricultural Tractors

When repair work neccesitates the removal of the radiator Support Group from the frame, it has often been difficult to reinstall the assembly due to the tight tolerances on the support plates on the frame. By fabricating a fixture to align the support assembly before installation, improved efficiency and time-savings are realized. This fixture incorporates the bolt hole pattern and the width of the frame. Refer to Illustration 1 for width dimensions and Illustration 2 for bolt hole pattern.

Loosen the bolts (L) on the radiator support (7E-7333 or 7E-7332 Support As.) before setting in the fixture. Refer to Illustrations 3 and 4.

Tighten the radiator support bolts AFTER securing them to the fixture. Once everything is tightened, remove radiator from the fixture and install onto the tractor.

This modification should ensure that the frame holes will line up with the radiator holes.
