Description of Change: A bracket in the turbocharger support group on the 3516 Machine Engine in the above trucks has been improved. The improved bracket has a bend that allows easier access to the wastegate. This bracket also acts as a shield to protect the wastegate from heat.

Adaptable To: The improved 106-4679 Bracket is in effect with 793B Trucks 1HL178-Up. The part number of the improved bracket did not change. The improved bracket can also be used to replace the 7E-7519 Bracket used on the right side of the engine in earlier 793 and 793B Trucks. The 106-4679 Bracket should NOT be used to replace the 7E-7519 Bracket on the left side of the engine.
