Stronger Spider Assemblies Used In Fan Groups{1356}

Usage:

768C, 772B Tractors;
769C, 773B Trucks

Description of Change: New spider assemblies are used on 768C and 772B Tractors and on 769C and 773B Trucks. The new spider assemblies have a smaller radius (curvature) on the blade than the former spider assemblies. This smaller radius gives more strength (stiffness) to the spider assembly.

The four outer rivets that hold the blade in place on the new spider assembly are cadmium plated. These rivets will help prevent corrosion between the rivets, blades and spider.

Adaptable As: On 768C Tractors and 769C Trucks, the new 4W6465 Spider Assembly is a direct replacement for the former 8N4029 Spider Assembly. On 772B Tractors and 773B Trucks, the new 4W6466 Spider Assemblies are direct replacements for the former 8N3560 Spider Assemblies. Both of the former spider assemblies are canceled.
