Description of Change: Changes have been made to the torque converter inlet relief valve in the selector valve group on the above models. A 1.6 mm (.06") radius has been added between the flange and body of the valve. The radius will help prevent failure of the valve. Formerly it was possible for the valve to break between the flange and body.

Adaptable As: The new 8M2764 Valve is a direct replacement for the former valve. The part number of the valve did not change.

For identification of the new valve, a V-groove has been cut in the valve body near the end opposite the flange.
