New Rod Ends And Supports Used In Hydraulic Control Groups{5452}

Usage:

215, 225, 235, 245 Excavators;
235, 245 Front Shovels;
227 Loggers

Description of Change: New rod ends, supports, bolts and spacers are used in the hydraulic control groups on the above machines.

Bolts are used to hold the new rod ends in position against the supports or valve stems. A socket can be used to tighten the bolts that hold the rod ends in place. Formerly, only a wrench could be used to tighten the rod ends in position against the support or valve stems. When a wrench was used, it was difficult to tighten the rod end to the correct torque. This lets the rod end loosen.

The new supports are made from an alloy steel and are nickel plated. Also, 1P808 Multipurpose Grease is put on the support during assembly. This helps prevent the development of rust on the support.

Adaptable As: The new parts are direct replacements for the former parts when used together as shown in the chart.
