Guideline For Reusable Parts, SEBF8151-02 "Procedures To Salvage Cylinder Blocks With Damaged Cylinder Head Stud Threads" has been updated to reflect the added installation instructions to account for the longer repair insert. The 128-5113 Thread Repair Insert has been changed from 265 mm (10.4 in) long to 270 mm (10.6 in) long. The change will allow for variations in insert length and hole depth. The 5 mm (.2 in) excess on the top end of the insert will have to be machined flush with the top of the cylinder block after installation.
