Caterpillar New Material Release dated March 1998 (LEXQ8145) advertises four new booklets that include a depiction of a wiring harness schematic. These schematics, although correct for certain engines, are not correct for all of the engines that are denoted on the cover. These publications were meant for dealer reference and customer education, not to be used as a troubleshooting tool. These booklets have caused some problems and confusion.
LEXQ8077, LEXQ8078, LEXQ8079, and LEXQ8080 have been purged from the ordering system. These booklets are no longer available for purchase.
