Description of Change: The basic governor groups for G3500 Engines contain an orifice. This orifice acts as a filter for the oil entering the governor from the engine oil supply. Engine oil debris from normal engine wear can damage the governor if the orifice is not functioning properly. To ensure that the governor will function properly, the orifice must be replaced every 7500 hours or once a year.
Adaptable To: The 7C-3018 Orifice is used in 3161 Governors that do not have a self-contained oil supply.
Location of 7C-3018 Orifice (1) in basic governor groups for G3500 Engines.
