Description of Change: The right side (as viewed from the flywheel end of the engine) camshaft drive gear and ring have been replaced with a new high inertia camshaft drive gear and plate. This change will provide improved gear
Adaptable To: The new 101-0242 Camshaft Drive Gear and 4W-4586 Plate are direct replacements for the former 101-1369 Camshaft Drive Gear (when used on the right side) and 124-3180 Ring. The new 101-0242 Camshaft Drive Gear and 4W-4586 Plate are effective with the serial numbers listed above. The 101-1369 Camshaft Drive Gear is not canceled. It is still used for the left side camshaft (as viewed from the flywheel end of the engine).
