Description of Change: A new valve recession tool kit is available for all 3600 Gas and Diesel Engines. The new valve recession tool kit accurately measures valve seat recession. A plastic case, a valve tool group, a projection gage block, and a foam block are all included in the tool kit. The measurements are made by placing a magnetic block on top of the rotocoil and using a rod to extend to the top of the cylinder head. A dial indicator is also required for this tool kit. An operating manual is provided along with the tool.
Adaptable To: The 148-2997 Valve Recession Tool Kit accurately measures valve seat recession. The 148-2997 Valve Recession Tool Kit includes the 6V-3073 Plastic Case, the 146-2729 Valve Tool Group, the 146-2738 Projection Gage Block, and the 148-2990 Foam Block. The 6V-3075 Dial Indicator is also required for this tool kit.
