Accumulator Charging Valve (Brake) - Disassemble

Usage:

Disassembly Procedure

Start By:

a. Remove the brake accumulator charging valve. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Accumulator Charging Valve (Brake) - Remove" for the machine that is being serviced.

NOTE: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before the disassembly procedure, the exterior of the component should be thoroughly cleaned. This will help to prevent dirt from entering the internal mechanism.

1. Remove fitting assemblies (1), (3), (4), (5) and (6) from brake accumulator charging valve (2). Remove the O-ring seals from all fitting assemblies.

2. Remove plugs (7) and (8).

3. Remove two spacers (9), washer (10), O-ring seal (11), plunger (12), piston (13), spring (14) and O-ring seal (15) from plug (8).

4. Remove two springs (16), two pistons (17) and spool (19). Remove two O-ring seals (18) from spool (19). Remove O-ring seal (20) from plug (7).

5. Remove plugs (21) and (22).

6. Remove spool (24), piston (25), ball (26), plunger (27) and spring (28) from under plug (21). Remove O-ring seal (29) from plug (21). Remove two O-ring seals (23) from spool (24).

7. Remove spool (31), spring seat (32) and springs (33) and (34) from under plug (22). Remove O-ring seal (35) from plug (22). Remove O-ring seal (30) from spool (31).

8. Remove plugs (36) and (42). Remove set screw (38), spring (39), plunger (40) and ball (41) from under plug (36). Remove O-ring seal (37) from plug (36). Remove O-ring seal (43) from plug (42).
