Usage:
Start By:
a. Remove the towing brake release cylinder. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Towing Brake Release Cylinder - Remove" for the machine that is being serviced.
NOTE: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before the disassembly procedure, the exterior of the component should be thoroughly cleaned. This will help to prevent dirt from entering the internal mechanism.

Personal injury can result from parts or covers under spring pressure. Spring force will be released when covers are removed. Be prepared to hold spring loaded covers as the bolts are loosened. |

NOTE: There is a compressed spring (3) inside the towing brake release cylinder. When bolts (1) are removed, the spring pressure is released.
1. Evenly loosen and remove six bolts (1) from the towing brake release cylinder to release spring (3).
2. Remove cap (2) and spring (3) from the towing brake release cylinder. Remove O-ring seal (4) from cap (2).
3. Remove piston (11) from barrel (6).
4. Remove seal assembly (5) and wear ring (7) from piston (11).
5. Remove lip seal (10), U-type seal (9) and wear ring (8) from barrel (6).
