Usage:
NOTE: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before assembly, all parts should be thoroughly cleaned in cleaning fluid. Allow the parts to air dry. Wiping cloths or rags should not be used to dry parts. Lint may be deposited on the parts which may cause later trouble. Inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement.
NOTE: Lubricate all parts with clean hydraulic oil during assembly.
1. Install the O-ring seals on plug (18) and fittings (16), (17) and (21). Install the plug and the fittings in the service brake control valve housings, as shown.
2. Install O-ring seals (19) and (20) in the valve housings, as shown.
3. Put the two valve housings together. Apply 155-0695 Thread Lock Compound to the threads of bolts (15) prior to assembly. Install two bolts (15) and the washers. Tighten bolts (15) to a torque of 33 ± 2 N·m (24 ± 2 lb ft).
4. Install spool (12), washer (13) and retaining ring (14).
5. Install O-ring seal (10) on actuator assembly (11). Install actuator button (6), shim pack (7), spring (8) and spring (9). Install actuator assembly (11). Tighten actuator assembly (11) to a torque of 47 ± 9 N·m (35 ± 7 lb ft).
6. Install dust cover (5).
7. Install O-ring seal (3) on plug (4). Install spool (1), spring (2) and plug (4). Tighten plug (4) to a torque of 25 ± 6 N·m (18 ± 5 lb ft).
