New Camshaft Groups Have Improved Camshaft Flange

Description of Change: New camshaft groups have improved camshaft flanges. The new camshaft segments have a thicker flange, and smaller pilot diameter. Also, spacer (1), between the camshaft segment and the camshaft journal assembly, has been eliminated. The bolts used to fasten the camshaft segment to the journal are changed from 1/2" to 5/8" bolts.
Adaptable To: The chart identities the camshaft groups and model usage. The new groups are adaptable to earlier engines. Individual camshaft segments are not interchangeable to earlier engines due to changes in bolts and pilot diameters.
