Improved Actuator Assemblies Used
Usage:
3600 Family Of Engines
Description of Change: Improved actuator assemblies are used. Vibration caused internal components of the former actuators to fail. A resonance of the shutdown solenoid mounting bracket caused the mounting bolts to fail. The improved actuator assemblies have a stiffer actuator base. An improved wire wrap of the harness and a new "three-bolt" shutdown solenoid mounting bracket provide improved service life.
Adaptable To: The chart lists the improved and former actuator assemblies. The improved actuator assemblies are in effect with 3606 Engine 8RB400, 3608 Engine 6MC306, 3612 Engine 9RC083, and 3616 Engine 1PD043. The improved actuator assemblies are adaptable to all earlier engines.
