  1. Install lip seal (27).

  2. Install lip seal (25) and o-ring seal (26).

  3. Use Tooling (C) to install seal carrier (24).

  4. Install seal group (23) into plate (22).

  7. Install o-ring seal (19).

  9. Install seal group (16) into plate (15).

  10. Install plate (15) and o-ring seal (14).

  11. Install housing (13), nuts (11), and bolts (12).

    1. Tighten nuts (11) to a torque of 227 ± 10 N·m (167 ± 7 lb ft).

    2. Tighten bolts (12) to a torque of 227 ± 10 N·m (167 ± 7 lb ft).

  12. Install shaft assembly (10), retaining ring (9), and o-ring seal (8).

  13. Install cover (7) and bolts (6).

    1. Tighten bolts (6) to a torque of 65 ± 3 N·m (48 ± 2 lb ft).

  14. Remove transmission oil pump from Tooling (A).

  15. Install o-ring seal (5).

  16. Install nuts (4) and plate (3).

    1. Tighten nuts (4) to a torque of 227 ± 10 N·m (167 ± 7 lb ft).

  17. Install spline adapter (1) and retaining ring (2).
