Start By:

  1. Remove the auxiliary water pump. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Auxiliary Water Pump - Remove".

  1. Remove nuts (1). Remove cover (2) from water pump (3).

  2. Remove O-ring seal (4) from cover (2).

    ------ WARNING! ------

    Personal injury can result from being struck by parts propelled by a released spring force.

    Make sure to wear all necessary protective equipment.

    Follow the recommended procedure and use all recommended tooling to release the spring force.


  3. Use Tooling (A) in order to remove impeller (5).

  4. Turn over water pump (3). Remove bolts (8). Remove shaft (7) and thrust washer (9). When you remove shaft (7) the seal ring will be free from shaft (7).

  5. Remove seal (10) and ring assembly (11).

  6. Turn over water pump (3). Remove seal assembly (12).
