- Drain the coolant from the cooling system into a suitable container for storage or for disposal. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cooling System Coolant - Change".
- Disconnect clamp assemblies (1) and disconnect tube assemblies (2) .

- Disconnect hoses (3) .
- Remove U-bolts (4) from heat exchanger (5) .
- Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device onto the heat exchanger. The weight of the heat exchanger is approximately 64 kg (140 lb).

- Remove the heat exchanger.
