PROBLEM
Show/hide table
The existing implement supply line bolts may come loose on certain D6K Track-Type Tractors. If the existing bolts come loose, a hydraulic leak can develop.
In order to allow equitable parts availability to all participating dealers, please limit your initial parts order to not exceed 7% of dealership population. This is an initial order recommendation only, and the ultimate responsibility for ordering the total number of parts needed to satisfy the program lies with the dealer.

1. Refer to Image 1.1.1 below. Remove the center belly guard shown at the arrow in order to access the hose that runs from the implement pump to the implement valve. Note the implement valve in the white circle.
Refer to Disassembly and Assembly - D6K Track Type Tractor Machine Systems - M0066516 for removal of the belly guard.

2. Locate the hose that runs from the implement pump to the implement valve. The hose is marked with a white arrow in Image 1.2.1 below.
Image1.2.1
3. Image 1.3.1 below shows the implement valve as seen looking up from below the machine. The hose identified in Step 2 connects to the implement valve at the connection in the white circle.
Check the bolts at this connection to be sure they are M10 bolts.
Image1.3.1
4. If the bolts found at this connection are 3/8 bolts rather than M10, remove the 3/8 bolts and clean the threads in the implement valve with an M10X1.5 tap. Then replace the 4J-0520 O-ring and install the correct 8T-4196 Bolts and 8T-4121 Washers at the connection. Tighten the bolts to a torque of 55 +/- 10 Nm (41 +/- 7 ft-lbs).
5. Reinstall the center belly guard. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly - D6K Track Type Tractor Machine Systems - M0066516 for installation of the belly guard.
6. Check the hydraulic oil level and add oil if needed.
