NOTE: | This Containment Program can be administered either before or after a failure occurs. In either case the decision whether to apply the Program is made by the dealer and service rep. Obtain the service reps Goodwill Approver Code before completing the repair. EAME dealers should use their standard Industry Group specific goodwill approval codes. The Goodwill Approver Code must be included when submitting the claim. |
NOTE: | When reporting the repair, use "PS90885" as the Part Number and "7777" as the Group Number. If administered before failure, use "56" as Warranty Claim Description and "T" as the SIMS Description Code. If administered after failure, use "96" as Warranty Claim Description Code and use "Z" as the SIMS Description Code. |

PROBLEM
The existing thrust washers and sleeve bearings, in the existing 3260532/">326-0532 (CHG02) Differential Group, may be worn or crack, and the thrust washers may wear into the differential cases on certain 950GC Wheel Loaders. If the existing thrust washer or sleeve bearing fails, it will cause abnormal noise, debris contaminate in the lubricant oil, and cause other parts in differential group to be worn. |

ACTION REQUIRED
Replace the existing 3260532/">326-0532 Differential Group (CHG02) with an updated 3260532/">326-0532 Differential Group (CHG03). Refer to UENR3124, Specifications, and UENR3335, Disassembly and Assembly, in order to complete this Rework Procedure. Note: Pay attention to the bevel gear set backlash adjustment during assembly. Refer to UENR3126, Testing and Adjusting, "Differential Backlash and Bearings - Adjust", for the adjustment procedure and requirements. |
