PROBLEM
The existing final drive can fail on certain 324D Excavators. If the existing final drive fails, it will have a travel hesitation problem. |

ACTION REQUIRED
Install the new motor housing, needle bearing, and duo-cone seal in order to avoid mud entry and possible needle bearing failure. Refer to RENR8646, Disassembly and Assembly, "Final Drive - Disassemble" and "Final Drive - Assemble". Perform a SOS analysis at every 250 hours. Change the final drive oil at every 2,000 hours. |
