Replace the boom assembly with the new part number boom assembly for your machine.
The part numbers of boom assemblies are listed in the Image2 below and in the Parts Needed.

Remove the pin assembly, cylinder groups, piping assembly, hose assembly, and any other additional parts that are attached to the existing boom assembly. Retain these parts for reuse on the new boom assembly for your machine.

Install the pin assembly, cylinder group, piping assembly, hose assemblies, and any other additional parts to the new boom assembly before the new boom assembly is installed on the machine. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly Manual, for the boom assembly installation instructions. The media numbers of these manuals are listed in the Image3 below.

At installation, replace seal-O-rings on the pin assembly, cylinder groups, piping assembly, hose assembly, and any other additional parts. For main piping replacement, see Image4-9 below described the part number and the position of the seal-O-rings need to be replaced. If your machine belongs to Group 6 or 7, see Image10 below, too.

In addition, if your machine has any auxiliaries on the boom, refer to the service information in order to replace the seal-O-rings. Refer to the Image11 below to see the part numbers of auxiliary on your machine.

Refer to Image12 below for the position of boom assembly and the additional parts that were installed on the new boom assembly.

For the installation of shims to the new boom assembly, refer to the Specification Manual. The media numbers of these manuals are listed in the Image13 below.
At the installation, reuse steel shims and replace plastic shims. The part numbers of plastic shims are listed in the Image14 below. Refer to the Image15 for the position of shims.

NOTE: The removed boom assembly must not be reused.
