MID 036 - CID 0298 - FMI 02 Incorrect Service Brake Pedal Switch inputs
Conditions Which Generate This Code:
Both of the signals (normally open contact and the normally closed contact) from the Right Brake pedal switch are at the same potential. Therefore, both switch signals are at 11.5 ± 0.5 VDC or both switch signals are less than 0.5 VDC.
System Response:
The CID-FMI may be viewed on the display module or on the Caterpillar Electronic Technician (ET). The CID-FMI is logged in memory. The throttle lock feature is disabled.
Test Step 1. Perform the following diagnostic procedure: Right Brake Switch
Results:
- OK - STOP
- REPAIRED, OK - STOP
