Removal Procedure

Start By:

1. Remove the muffler and exhaust extension.
2. Remove the air cleaner assembly.

1. Remove four bolts and washers (3) from the guard for the prescreener.

2. Unhook rubber latch (4) on each side of the hood.

3. Remove five bolts and washers (1) that hold hood assembly (2) in place.

4. Use two people to remove hood (2) from the machine. The weight of the hood is 34 kg (75 lb).

Installation Procedure

1. Use two people to place the hood in position on the machine. The weight of the hood is 34 kg (75 lb).

2. Install five bolts and washers (1) that hold hood assembly (2) in place.

3. Hook rubber latch (4) on each side of the hood.

4. Install four bolts and washers (3) in the guard for the prescreener.

End By:

1. Install the muffler and exhaust extension.
2. Install the air cleaner assembly.
