Fuel Transfer Pump - Disassemble

Usage:

Disassembly Procedure

Start By:

  1. Remove the fuel transfer pump.

------ WARNING! ------

Sudden release of spring force can cause injury.

To prevent the possibility of injury, follow the procedure to relieve the spring pressure.

  1. Cover (1) is under spring force. Carefully remove bolts (3) and cover (2) from housing (1) .

  1. Remove O-ring seals (4) and (5) from the cover.

  1. Remove valve assembly (6) from the cover.

  1. Remove spring (7) from housing (1) .

  1. Remove piston (12) from sleeve (10). Remove washer (15), valve assembly (14), and seal (13) from piston (12) .

  1. Remove sleeve (10) from housing (1). Remove O-ring seal (11) from sleeve (10) .

  1. Remove guide and tappet assembly (9) and seal (8) from housing (1) .

  1. Remove two screws (16), cover (17), and the seal from housing (1) .

  1. Remove valve assembly (18) from housing (1) .
