2. Move the transmission direction switch to the NEUTRAL position.

3. Place the machine in roading mode by pressing the mode switch on the right hand control unit.

4. Press the parking brake switch in order to engage the parking brake. This will also lower the ladder.

   Reference: Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Operator Controls" for more information.

5. Place the boom into the stored position.

Stored position without a load

When the machine is not loaded, the grapple must be resting on the bed of the rear frame.

Stored position with a partial load

When the machine is partly loaded, the boom must be lowered on top of the logs and resting on the top of the logs, as shown.

Note: The damper must not rest against the stop when the grapple is stored.
