517 Track-Type Skidder Engine Supplement Caterpillar

Disassembly Procedure

Start By:

1. Remove the engine oil filter base.

1. Remove plug (1) and O-ring seal (2) .

2. Remove bolts (3) and cover (4) from the oil filter base.

Note: Put identification marks on plungers (7) and (8) in order to replace the plungers in the same location.

3. Remove springs (5) and (6) and plungers (7) and (8) from the oil filter base.

4. Remove the stud for the oil filter from the oil filter base, if necessary.
