Engine Oil Filter Base - Disassemble
Disassembly Procedure
Start By:
- Remove the engine oil filter base.

- Remove plug (1) and O-ring seal (2) .
- Remove bolts (3) and cover (4) from the oil filter base.
- Remove springs (5) and (6) and plungers (7) and (8) from the oil filter base.
Note: Put identification marks on plungers (7) and (8) in order to replace the plungers in the same location.
- Remove the stud for the oil filter from the oil filter base, if necessary.
