Note: Rubber toric seals and all of the surfaces in contact with the rubber toric seals must be clean and dry at assembly. Prior to installation, put a thin layer of oil on the surfaces of the metal seals that are in contact. Put lubricant on all other seals at assembly. The seal mounting surface must be assembled square with the bore. The seals must not bulge, and the seals must not twist.
(1) Torque for 18 bolts ... 270 ± 40 N·m (200 ± 30 lb ft)
(2) Torque for plug ... 20 ± 5 N·m (15 ± 4 lb ft)
(3) Torque for four studs ... 65 ± 10 N·m (48 ± 7 lb ft)
