Problem:
In certain applications the hydraulic lift cylinder seals may fail causing hydraulic oil bypass.
Solution:
Improved seals and a wider piston are now available from Caterpillar Elphinstone until the standard parts distribution system can supply. Refer to Table 1 and Illustration 1 for details.
NOTE: .030 inch oversize seal and wear rings are also available.
NOTE: .060 inch oversize seal and wear rings are available on request through Caterpillar Elphinstone Product Health.
