Cab Air Filter Caterpillar

Cab Air Filter

Usage:

WHEEL LOADERS938G (6WS00001-01000),
IT38G (1CW00001-00334) WHEEL LOADERS

Problem:

Cab air filters (ref. 1130305) may be installed backwards (in the wrong position).

Solution:

Both filters must be turned over in the right position.

Procedure:

* Unscrew knobs.
* Pull filter pack out of seat support.
* Turn filters in right position:

One side of the filter has a metal screen over the pleated paper and a felt seal on the filter frame. Printed on the filter frame are the words: "Direction of air flow" along with an arrow. The metal screen and seal should be placed so they are visible through the metal grates under the seat.

* Place filter pack back into seat support.
